The forecast promised clouds and the mountains delivered them, but Maria and Enrico never stopped smiling. Their wedding turned the grey mist of a Dolomite summer into the perfect backdrop for an explosion of colour.
Tall installations of yellow, orange, fuchsia and blue flowers lined the wooden aisle of the outdoor ceremony, picked up again in the bouquets, the boutonnières and the illustrated stationery welcoming every guest.
The Day
Maria walked down the aisle in a blush tulle gown as the clouds drifted between the peaks, and the vows were exchanged surrounded by family and friends. Afterwards the couple stole a few quiet minutes on the rocks above the valley, before the party moved indoors for a long lunch, a flower-covered cake and dancing that lasted well into the evening.
