Martina & Stefano — Snow, Skis and Vows at the Cinque Torri

Martina and Stefano chose the season most couples would never dare to: the Dolomites still covered in snow, the Cinque Torri standing white against the sky and the ski slopes running right past the ceremony.

The guests reached Rifugio Scoiattoli by chairlift, wrapped in warm jackets, while the bride got ready in a quiet mountain hotel. The ceremony was set in the snow with the red banner of Cortina d’Ampezzo beside the couple and the towers rising behind them.

The Day

After the civil ceremony and a celebration of confetti in the cold, crisp air, the couple posed with skis on their shoulders before joining everyone on the sun terrace for a long aperitivo. A heart-shaped cake covered in berries carried their names, and the afternoon went on between toasts, hugs and the view that had brought them up here in the first place.
