A wedding in the Dolomites, shaped by a lifetime of belonging.

Wedding in Cortina by Viviana Reatti creates destination celebrations in the Italian mountains for couples who seek beauty with substance, impeccable organisation and the reassuring presence of someone who has always called this place home.

Weddings in the Dolomites

Some places ask for more than admiration. They ask to be understood.

The Dolomites have an immediate power: they alter the scale of everything around them, turning a landscape into an experience and a celebration into a memory that seems to belong to the place itself. Yet their beauty, so effortless to the eye, conceals a territory that requires knowledge, sensitivity and an exact understanding of how seasons, distances, weather and hospitality must work together.

A wedding here cannot be conceived as an event transferred from one destination to another. It must be imagined within the character of the mountains, respecting their rhythm while making every moment feel natural for the couple and for the guests who have travelled from abroad. This is where Viviana Reatti’s work begins: not with a decorative concept, but with the ability to read a place she knows intimately and translate it into a celebration that feels personal, elegant and completely at ease.

Local knowledge becomes true luxury

when it allows everyone else to feel free.

Viviana was born and raised in Cortina d’Ampezzo, within a family whose history is deeply connected to the town and to a tradition of refined hospitality.

Her story, however, has always extended beyond the mountains. From the age of fourteen, Viviana travelled abroad to study English and German, developing an international outlook at an early age. Her creative path later led her to jewellery design, with her own collection receiving recognition at BIJORHCA Paris among thirty selected European designers. She has also worked on major American film productions and, more recently, collaborated with Balich Wonder Studio on the Opening Ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games in Cortina. These experiences have shaped an instinctive ability to move between cultures, creative worlds and complex productions while remaining deeply connected to the place she calls home.

Over the years, that heritage has become a professional method built on discretion, careful listening and the ability to anticipate what others may only notice when it is too late.

For international couples, this means being guided by someone who understands both the emotional importance of the wedding and the practical complexity of hosting it in the mountains. Venues, access, timing, weather alternatives, guest movements and relationships with local professionals are coordinated as parts of a single composition, so that the work remains largely invisible and the experience remains entirely yours.

Wedding Stories

Celebrations remembered for the way they felt, not only for the way they looked.

Every wedding begins with a different story and therefore deserves a different language. Some couples imagine an intimate ceremony surrounded by peaks; others dream of several days shared with family and friends, where dinners, walks and quiet mornings become as meaningful as the wedding itself. What connects them is not a recurring aesthetic, but the care with which each celebration is designed around the people who will live it.

The Wedding Stories reveal the process behind selected events: the couple’s vision, the specific challenges of the destination, the choices that shaped the experience and the details that allowed the day to unfold with apparent simplicity.

The Wedding Planning Method

The calm of the wedding day is built long before it begins.

Behind a celebration that appears spontaneous there is a structure made of listening, decisions, alternatives and precise coordination. The Viviana Reatti Method brings these elements together through a process that moves from the couple’s first ideas to the final farewell, preserving a clear vision while responding intelligently to everything a destination wedding may require.

It is a method developed through experience, but never applied mechanically. Every project begins again from the people involved, from the place they have chosen and from the kind of hospitality they wish to offer, because organisation has value only when it creates room for emotion rather than competing with it.

Wedding Destinations in Italy

From the intimacy of the mountains to the timeless theatre of Venice.

The Dolomites remain the heart of Wedding in Cortina: Cortina d’Ampezzo, Alta Badia and the landscapes around the Cinque Torri offer distinct ways of experiencing the mountains, each with its own atmosphere, seasonality and logistical character. Beyond the peaks, selected celebrations may also take shape in Venice, among the historic villas of Valpolicella or in the Prosecco Hills, always through the same attentive and highly personal approach.

Choosing a destination is not simply a matter of scenery. It means understanding how a place will welcome your guests, influence the rhythm of the celebration and become part of the story you will remember. Viviana guides this choice with the knowledge of someone who sees beyond the image and considers the experience in its entirety.

The Guide

Begin with the questions that matter.

Planning a wedding in the Dolomites from another country often begins with an abundance of inspiration and very little practical orientation. The complimentary guide introduces the first decisions to consider, from seasonality and access to guest experience and the importance of a realistic alternative plan.

It is not a catalogue of venues, but a clear starting point for couples who want to approach the mountains with greater awareness before defining the details of their celebration.

The Wedding Journal

A closer look at the places, choices and details that shape a destination wedding in Italy.

The Journal brings together practical guidance, travel notes, seasonal perspectives and real wedding stories for couples planning from abroad. It is conceived as an editorial space in which the beauty of a destination is always accompanied by the knowledge required to experience it well, offering considered answers to questions that are often overlooked in the early stages of planning.

Your wedding may begin with a place, but it becomes meaningful through the way it is lived.

If the Dolomites, Venice or the landscapes of northern Italy have become part of the way you imagine your celebration, the first conversation is an opportunity to understand whether your vision, your priorities and Viviana’s approach belong in the same story. There is no need to arrive with every answer; it is enough to begin with what matters to you.
