Erika and Robert flew in from New York with forty-two of their closest friends and family, and gave us four months to turn a long weekend in Cortina into something none of them would forget. It became a full, experiential plan: not just a wedding day, but three days of the Dolomites lived together.
Everyone landed in Venice, where shuttles and a welcome bag of fresh fruit and small gifts made in Italy were waiting. On Thursday evening the guests met for a welcome party at Hotel de Len; the next day they hiked with alpine guides, shared lunch in a mountain hut and ended the evening around a refined pizza dinner in the centre of Cortina.
The Day

On the wedding day the guests rode the chairlift up to Rifugio Scoiattoli, where Erika and Robert exchanged their vows in a symbolic ceremony in front of the Cinque Torri, with a string quartet playing as the light softened. Aperitivo followed on the terrace, then everyone came down by jeep to San Brite, the Michelin-starred restaurant reserved entirely for them, for a dinner of mountain flavours and long tables lit by candles. On Sunday, a final brunch at the Grand Hotel Savoia closed the weekend.
